As a child of the sixties, I really like your cover art. However, on the flip side, it really gives me no clue as to what the book is about. Of course, anyone can just flip it over and read the blurb so this is not really a big problem. The image does pique my interest.
Naomi that is a good point. I fear I am in love with the art yet again. I did do some research on the cover art of other YA action/thriller titles, and at least the color scheme is in the ballpark. The time may come when I have to change the cover. I definitely broke the rule/guideline to blend in, rather than stand out.
